It's weird though - he's not soliciting business, he's just sharing information. Any individual could post the same info if they did the research first (presumably at their own expense) of what MB TB sizes go with which engines and which bolt patterns, etc.
Perhaps because it's info some vendors would prefer be kept quiet?

Sponsors pay a huge fee to be able to post items in forums. This will most likely be removed as well as he states they are selling all types of products...

Thankfully, I cut-and-pasted his second attempt onto my laptop - is this excerpt allowed to remain "out in the open" on MBW?
M112= 68mm
M112k/M113/M272= 74mm
M113k= 74mm and some 80mm, different bolt pattern then other M11x engines.
M273= 80mm+ and will fit M112/M113/M112k bolt pattern.
To fit the M113k on the different bolt pattern cars you will need an adapter plate as the holes are spaced slightly differently.
The opening on the M112/M113/M112k is limited to 77mm though.
If not, mods please delete... but I see no reason why this info can't be shared on an MB Enthusiast forum? For the record, I'm not selling anything, TB's or otherwise.

Ah, I see - I guess I missed the part where he said "we sell this..." - I must've skipped right to the meat of his post about which TB sizes go with which engines/models/etc. Thanks Jake.

ones too fast according to CHP!
No, it's because some vendors actually PAY REAL MONEY that keeps this site live for the privileged of posting that info and getting the respective sales.
Without these PAYING sponsors, this site would not exist.
Those that solicit business without following the rules disrespect the site, the supporting vendors and the users.

What other type of money is there? And, why are you shouting?

Consideration is $5.4 million.
It’s just business.
..Even though I agree with you in principle, that's a little harsh. There are several instances of "circumventing sponsorship" on MBW, some of which get deleted and others that are left intact. In this particular instance, I felt that (insert former MBW sponsor's name here) wasn't "soliciting business" but I suppose it's open to interpretation. FWIW, the business's name was never mentioned in his post(s)..
Those of us who’ve previously shared worthwhile technical information here apparently have some other benevolent motive.

I was actually trying NOT TO SELL products and thus showed it as a bad value.
However, if you have a local machine shop that does not know me (or I get violation points) then bring it to them and see what they can get out of it.
2mm for $100.00 might not be a bad inestment, but it also seems a little unrealistic considering the new butterfly and all.
I would suggest fitting the M273 TB and modifying the inlet housng to allow for the increased opening.
EDIT: I just realized a lot of the M273 (82mm) TBs are being marketed for big money, that might explain the constant post deletion.

the blower is almost maxed out. port matching the blower and plenums will show gains, but not worthy of the cost and extra "things" required to make it work and actually gain power out of it. it is better to just upgrade to a larger blower though no one has done it yet.

+1 on the first part. For the second - well, MIDO has... but don't know where that stands in terms of project completion, or if it's even running and properly tuned yet...?

SL55 Y-pipe in a C32. You got 100 % more air if you install a NeedsWings Intake manifold, And you can feel it in your but.

and there are more space problems than that.

easy to enlarge to 85 mm. The trottle respons is insane. But you have to enlarge the intake of the supercharger. Now we are talking hp.

room. I know there is problem with the NeedWings CAI intake on a C32. But
that is nothing you cant fix. The Intake Manifold must work.

apparently, the srt6 manis are just too large and would rub up against the firewall as well. i'll ask rob again.

NeedWings Intake Manifold
the CAI CAN be made to fit by cutting through the firewall and relocating some things....but it will never be as effective as the one on the SLK and SRT because there is no nice space for it near the grille.

If you are using inside one 3´ or two intake pipe, 2,5´ * 2 you got
all the air you need. You dont have to destroyed anything.
