i normaly post on bimmerforums or e46fanatics however heard about this thread from Ali well i witnessed the race and the owner of the m5 is a friend of mine believe it or not this is what happened. I see this result entirely plausible first of all if anyone has ever been in an e60 m5 he would know that they are a bit slougish from 0 to approx 120km a car with a good amount of low end torque could pull on it especially in a short race to 400m the m5 really shines at top speed however the engine lacks torque at low revs. This result would have been much different if it was a rolling race from 100km and on. The m5 is undergoing clutch replacment so as soon as it is done we will surely be able to catch the rematch on video
