OPDS pictures and R&D update #6

3. Power Steering Pulley - stock size, no room to increase it's size.
4. Alternator Pulley - 13% larger to keep alternator at the same speed as stock.
5. Large Tensioner Pulley - to keep belt size stock
6. Small Tensioner Pulley - to keep belt size stock
7. and 8. Plugs to separate engine cooling system from kompressor intercooling system.
9. Heater hose and clamps to route water (winshdield washer fluid) from and to windshiled washer fluid bottle.
10. Modified Windshield Washer Fluid Bottle with A/N fittings. Windshield washer remains fully functional.
R&D UPDATE.
1. Engine:
The SL55 intake splitter will fit on the C32's throttle body. It requires new custom hoses to connect it to the air boxes. We are also working with a local air filter company to make gauze air filters for C32, utilizing a design that will not block side air entrance like ITG and K&N do.
I have been doing more testing on a factory intercooler. It appears to be a major botttleneck. We are looking at replacing Garrett core with Laminova cores that are more efficient (90-95% vs. 70-75%) and less restrictive.
The first prototype for our intake manifold is complete and under testing right now. I will post a picture shortly.
Two different cam profiles are on order from Germany. They will be tested within next several month.
2. Brakes:
Our C32 is going to Brembo for front 14'' and rear 13'' kits.
3. Suspension:
The H&R coilover kit is on our C32 and I love it! It is probably as firm as one wants to go on the street. It could be firmer on the track, but for a daily driver it is perfect.
Our sway bars have been working very well. I am looking into making a bigger rear bar for track use.
A camber kit and strut tower brace are on the agenda.
