chong, hassel meng....sorry to hear that 'tol.... will look at my trunk area later if i have any ideas. but all I could think of is the drain ports make sure water is indeed draining. might be clogged with bits of leaves or something, this would be the best case scenario coz all you have to do is clear that stuff up. my next guess would be the rear glass panel hopefully there are no leaks. Braad! nakaka pikon men! the fact that its not mechanical u know, and its all body ****, out of my realm!

pero i have a clue where its coming from, its coming from one of the platic lining that goes along the rubber weatherstrip? kasi in the trunk, right below where that plastic lining is, the actual sheet metal is rusted bro!

so i improvised and put silicone sealant around taht area...layers after layers..hopefully...itll help out!?

ewan ko man, its just annoying, and the rain is not being nice dude.

been on duty for da army 2 days, and i drove the Z and left the C32 sa labas, and its been raining like crazy here man.
And to come home to tihs kinda sucks!

'tol...i think when summer comes around you just have to take that weather stripping off and bondo it nice and smooth, won't see it anyway....maybe I'll be in cali by that time... I visit my sis often in walnut. anyway, hope it works out. if you got a garage put it in there in there for now. but yes it sucks when one of ur rides is sick!!!

i would disconnect your battery. The electrics should be ok, long as you don't run any current through while its wet. Maybe check the little hole behind the license plate. There should be screw and behind it a rubber seal. it might that. Other then that, its probably the rear window like w203ramos said.

OH FORSURE MAN!
ill make sure i check the license plate as well!
but as far as the "flood"
Ramos helped me out and dobule checked some issues for me, but apparently, the plastic molding thats on each corner along the weather rubber stripping needs to chekced for clooggged debris and needs to be cleared...im basically having water back up.
..it just sucks because the rain is not letting me work on it :-/

as far as the wires thats soaked, i dont even know where and what those wires for, but i havent started the car or anything at all, just unlock/lock/trunk open from the key fob.

Thanks man for the input about the license plate! def look into it soon, whenever the rain subsides!

long as it doesnt reach the rear sam. The rear sam as some live wires even when the car is off. So if its close to the rear sam, you should disconnect the ground on your battery.

actaully, the rear sam got soaked with a lil bit of water :-(
i JUST realized that now the lock that locks/unlocks my fuel filler cap doesnt work...the actual assebly itself WORKS, its the wiring...everything else seem to work fine? i dunno..i went ahead and cleaned some debris from the plasting moulding trim around the same area where the rubber weather strips are at...also i went ahead and had blew air underneath the plastic moulding where i found soggy/rotten leaves and dirt build up and such..hopefully no more clogged drainage and rain water backing up in my trunk!

There are 3 push clips that are on the outside of the trunk seal that hold down some plastic trim pieces. Those pins/clips are 1 time use only, if your trunk has ever been wrecked or wroked on and those clips were reused and not replaced water is leaking in. You can reuse the old ones, but you will want to reseal them with some sort of silicone.

You can see the clips on the right and left side of the trunk, but the ones you are concered with are on the top section.

those damn gremlins....bro wait for a nice sunny day and just open up everything let it air out and perhaps after doing so you could go to home depot and get a couple of those dehumidifier bags that are used for basements and throw a couple of those in the trunk. sounds silly but a friend of mine had a e320 and got rained on with all the windows down incl. the moon roof!!!anyway to make the long story short he dried up most of the water manually and then he put a dehumidifier inside the car it actually sucked out almost a 1/2 gallon of water overnight.

the only way water can get into your trunk is IF your trunk seal are f-ed OR trunk latch is loose and not holding the trunk down for proper seal OR your tail light cover is loose.
