remember the oil used is the same oil that is used on just about every jet engine in the military and department of defence under the name MIL-PRF-23699F just figured it might be esier to find.

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
Bump of an old thread. Is this MB recommended service at any point?

Not sure if its recommended by MB, but you change every other fluid in a vehicle as maintenance, why would you not want to change the supercharger oil?

No. It is not. Checked with former MB mechanic on this. That's after I did it myself though.

+1 the mechanic I talked to had never heard of it either, but after I did the change it deed seem to run smoother and "feel" better....but then again I get that same feeling after I wash my car

Thanks. Yeah, I reached out to the cool techs at my local MB dealership and none of them heard of it either. I wonder if kompressor failures happen, cause according to them... they haven't seen any.
