New Car Pics!
So, I'm sure that some of you will be interested to see what the new ride looks like. I'm loving every minute of driving this mini-beast 
. Driving a stick is so refreshing after the frustrating tranny of the C55, and the handling is as advertised. Obviously the raw power of the 5.5l V8 isn't there, but this car is plenty fast for me, and the smile it puts on my face more than makes up for what it lacks in torque.
I know that the majority of people here think that I just did a major downgrade, but it definitely doesn't feel that way to me. My C55 just left an awful taste in my mouth. I know that it was my fault for buying it out of warranty, but even so, that car had too many problems to enjoy.

Personally, I like the concept of the Clubman but, I have never been able to look at one seriously since the wife of my business partner pointed out that she thought it looked like a hearse for midgets.

The Mini is a great 2nd car, IMO. They're a blast to drive, but I just wouldn't want one as my primary/daily. I drove one for a few weeks, and after that time I just stared feeling like one of those Shriner guys in a parade.

The hearse for a midget thing is pretty funny, and trust me I've taken a lot of flak at work for driving this thing (especially considering I'm 6'6), but I'm still having a blast driving it, so that's all that matters

Congrats on the new car-my wife wanted me to look at one too when I got rid of the C55...I just couldnt pull the trigger on one-for the money-my used Porsche was the same as a Mini S Club the way I wanted it (lots of check marks....)
