Boost difference at high altitude

I was seeing 1.3-1.4 bar in redline third gear at 700ft altitude, today i went to like 5000ft altitude and the boost drop to 0.9-1.0, is that normal? i though i will see higher boost!!
Btw i didn't feel a drop in performance.

And last summer i raced an M3 V8 convertible SMG at the same place elevation(5000ft) i win by more then 3 cars at 1/4 mile approximatly.

That is perfectly normal - you'll make higher boost where the air is denser (i.e. lower altitude, lower temps, and/or lower humidity), and going 700 ft to 5,000 ft is a dramatic difference.

And yes, at elevation, N/A engines are robbed of power at a much greater rate than F/I engines... so your C32 will perform at a somewhat comparable level, but that E93 M3 will be gasping for air.

I'm around 6000ft, and most I've seen on the boost gauge is 18-19PSI with 185MM, but I also still have stock heat exchanger...

I believe it. At that altitude. a NA engine will suffer at the track more than a FI engine.

i have also a boost gauge, but how are mesuring this high boost at this elevation 18-19psi (1.3 bar)? i was reading my numbers same day same hour and the difference was from 14.5 psi to 19 psi. Maybe my gauge or your gauge are not adequate, or maybe i have a belt slippage, i must order a belt wrap kit.

I would assume belt slip, but my boost gauge is analog, so I would question it's accuracy... I do have the NW saver/belt wrap. Recently while my belt was saturated with engine oil, and coolant I hit max boost of 15PSI. Major belt slip. It was even smoking after...
