ALSO, I can't believe I forgot this one, it's by far the most profound... It took me a year to realize that I had a cassette player in my radio hidden behind the screen...

do you have command? i dont...not sure if it is different with command....but without command, there is a button that says "EJ" on it....stands for eject.

i've seen MBs with command have a tape player behind command when also pushing an "EJ" button....so look for one if that is your case

Our stereo is or was speed sensitive...

Close/open window with remote doesn't work really well...

I've known about the throttle reset, but haven't used it in months as I had forgotten about it. Went on a spirited drive today and decided to reset the throttle on a whim.

Oh my gosh... what have I been missing?! Throttle reset is my new best friend now!

I may not understood this correctly but one touch start means when u turn the key once to start the car while other cars have to hold it till it start?.. correct?

yessir.

Actually I'm having a problem with the windows rolling up or down with the key. i used to use it a lot in the summer but i tried recently to roll it up and it wouldn't roll up or down with the key fob...

Closing and opening the windows from outside requires aiming the IR on the key fob at the receiver on the door handle. Once you realize that...it actually works pretty well.

This i know; hence my statement saying that it worked fine for me in the summer. Recently it just hasn't been wanting to work even if point the key directly at the receiver on the handle.

Yeah, I've read a lot of people saying the same things. That function on our cars is very finicky. Mine used to do it when it felt like it, but now I can get it to do it regularly as long as I put the key literally on the sensor.

I was trying to get this to work last night (never actually done it on my car before). But the sensor you're talking about is on the door handle near the key hole? A little square piece? And I should be able to just hold down the unlock button to make the windows go down if the key is aimed there?

don't forget if you press and hold the same button again it'll return the windows to all the previous open position again.

that usually means your IR receiver is cooked.

mine only works on the passenger side and not the drivers.

Could it mean your battery is low on your key fob (since pressing, and holding, subsequently uses more battery power)??

There's a tire air compressor in the trunk as part of the spare tire toolkit. Never knew I had one!

Yeah, it works pretty well too. Of course, I used mine once and now the fitting is loose and air escapes so it won't inflate a tire.
