I finally pulled the trigger...

Now my secondaries and resonator are sitting in a box in the garage! There is seriously no reason for anyone not to have this done, the sound is awesome and there is no drone. These cars definately should have come this way from the factory! I don't know if its because this car is so well insulated, but I actually thought it would be louder! It needs to warm up outside and I can drive with the windows down and really hear it. Best $100 I've ever spent on a mod.

I realize there are a few on here already but it would have been nice to have another before and after dyno with the resonator and secondary cats removed....

Will likely be doing resonator, and secondary catalytic delete here soon. All I can hear at this point is an extremely loud supercharger...

Whats the power impact of this? Any chance of losing power? Ive heard of some turbo'd cars losing backpressure because of these mods. Should matter since SC is belt driven, but what's the impact?

you need to read up on forced induction. this is a good thing, not a bad thing.

IIRC, when Hooley deleted his secondaries, he picked up about 10 whp (resonator delete just for sound on the C55)

deleting on the c32 will not result in more power; just on the c55 will deleting the cats result in more power. however, you will see more noise. looking at your mod list, i'm really surprised you do not have at LEAST the resonator delete. you need at LEAST that...and headers.

on C32? no power impact. just sound. on C55: about 10 whp. regarding backpressure, see dingleberry's post

The sound difference is incredible. Driving behind thegreatfnr at the meet it definitely had a great sound. Glad you went forward with it.

And dingleberry/jturkel are right. Turbo's create their own backpressure so anything post-turbo should be as free-flowing as possible. NA cars are a different matter...

I'm in it for the extra exhaust sound. Love my 350z with full exhaust! I'm surprised I don't have at least an upgraded heat exchanger... (Soon!)
