CLK 63 AMG non black series bumper on C55

CLK 63 AMG non black series bumper on C55

Hey guys,

something unfortunate happened to my C55 front end recently, and I am looking to purchase a new front bumper.

I know that the C55s share the same front end as a W209 CLK, so I'm taking a wild guess that the CLK63 non black series (with the side vent) bumper would fit the C55.

Anybody have info on it? or the bumper part number??

Someone on the board has done this. It's supposedly a perfect fit. Can't help you with the part #. Might want to try the search.

Sorry to hear about the unfortunate circumstances Gary. Look up member spr or do a clk63 search in this section, I am pretty sure that he is the member that did the full front end conversion.

thanks for the info guys, Russell Stevens already sent me some PNs,

The guy I got the bumper from swore that I can just use the original reinforcing, if it already has a "2005 CLK front end" since the C55 does. I'm not 100% sure if it is the SAME brackets as the CLK, but I would assume so, since the C55 DOES use a full CLK front, except the grill.

so I have bought...

1. Bumper
2. side markers
3. CF front lip (newer style)
4. Fog grill +Center grills
5. Fogs

some additionals im considering
A roll of carbon fiber
C63 style side vent
3 slat CLK grill. w/ no star
