C32 for $8,500

I found a 132,000 mile C32 for $8,500. Think it's worth it? How much money for maintenance or repairs would you expect on that high mileage?

Yeah it's worth it. I bought one with high mileage, replaced all filters and plugs. That alone had the car running great.

Maybe, but you better inspect the s*** out of it. If you see any indications that it hasn't been taken care of, I'd run away. For $12,000 you could get a low mileage one.

LOL, I didn't even buy new. Bought a 19k mile '04, with the colors/options I wanted, a little under 3 years ago (May 2007).

Thought I was being a smart-shopper, since it had depreciated substantially from sticker ($56k)... but unfortunately it looks to have depreciated another 60%+ from where I bought. Ah well, not planning on selling anytime soon anyway - just depressing to think about.

^ Its not just Mercedes depreciating right now. Porsche, Audi and BMW are all depreciating at a much faster level than ever. Who would have thought you could find a 996tt with less than 60k for under 40k in great shape. I have seen a RS4 dpreciate 11k on the dealer lot before they sold it. List was 80k they sold it for under 65k. Car values are dropping like stones right now. I say the best thing is to buy the car you really want and live with it so when you do sell or trade it the sting wont hurt so bad.

Im sure you can afford the maintenace thats what DIYs are for i wouldnt be able to afford this c32 if everything that went wrong with this car was fixed by the dealership.

You do have a point, man your making really want one. Then again a e90 m5 is in a similar price range now. So many great cars and becoming affordable.
