Nice to hear!!!
Is that for all the upgrades and car or just the car?
Did you keep you current car or did you let them salvage it?
Make sure you check NADA for approximate values for retail as they are sometimes higher than what the insurance company claims, they have to give you fair value of what that year, make, model vehicle is on average being sold for in the past 6 months, regardless of milage. Use the' clean retail" value when checking.
That car according to the site is current value $27,075 so if that was just the car payout then you made out good.

Wow, I've been away from the forums for a bit and clearly missed something major! Last I had read you had some crazy plans for the 55 and were planning on crushing your existing record. I have some catching up to do....

Yeah metlife went above and beyond on this one.. The lady in the total loss dpt. was amazing. we are now in negotiations to also retain the car. I might not even have to buy it back either.

Congrats! Hope to follow your next project closely. Are you still planning to mod it heavily and try for the record?

It may take a while if I get an SL55, but I will try for the record.

I'm hoping to get an SL55. Its kinda where I'm at right now. I will make that think as fast as I can. It should allow me to bring a bunch of 55k products to the table. Without borrowing my brothers car.

And it is smart to have a nice insurance binder if you plan to mod heavily. I do!
I hope to see you in an SL55 so you can bring some new ideas and products to the 55K's. Good luck bro!
In addition to all my mods, I'm installing titanium rods to help lighten up my bottom even futher and increase the RPM range. My engine will be coming apart again in a couple of months and there will not be one part on my 5.7K I haven't modified.
