What's your favorite way to bleed the brakes?

I just ordered Goodridge lines and need to bleed the brakes when I put them on. What's your favorite device? Vacuum hand pump, pump w/ tank, bleeder screws? What fluid do you guys use? Should I just use MB fluid or is it worth it to use a racing type fluid with a higher boiling point? Also, do i need a special wrench or something?

favorite method is with two people.

first person pumps pedal 10 times and holds pedal. 2nd person breaks open bleeder screw, fluid squirts out, close screw, release pedal. replenish reservoir fluid.

do that 5 times at each corner, done.

motion ind power bleeder. 50$. 1 man operation and you get ALL the air out of the system. cant do it properly by pedal. try motul blue fluid or ate super blue. when the line is purged you will see the colored fluid coming out.
start with the pass rear then drivers rear then pass front and finally drivers front. put 1 qt in the power bleeder and you can bleed everything and fill the resovoir and have 1/2 pt. left over
any wrench will work but a flare nut wrench is best and wont strip the bleeder valves. if a valve is bad remember you need metric bleeder to go back in.

I've got a Motion power bleeder at it works exactly as 320 dreamer described it. Just pump the bleeder up to 2 bar and start bleeding the brakes. The reason a power bleeder is preferred is the pump method allows the master cylinder to travel further than it normally does - which is tough on the MC piston seal on an older MC.

Motive bleeder. Don't exceed 25lbs. Use line wrenches only and use Motul 600 or SRF. Change lines to braided at same time while you're at it... and better pads.... and better rotors.... and better calipers..... and better rims.... and better tires.... and better coil overs.... and better sways.... and do the rack... hahaha

power bleeder eliminates any chance of air in the system from returning and its a 1 man job. now you dont have to share any beer!!

Ordered and received the ATE super blue fluid, Motive power bleeder and even watched a few you tube videos on technique. I'm ready to rock. Of course, then I get an email from FRSport saying that the Goodridge lines for our cars aren't in the warehouse and it will be 2-4 weeks. Apparently, the C32 is in the 10% that they don't stock. Buzz kill. I think if you don't have an item in stock, you should be forbid from listing it on Ebay.

Is the fluid corrosive? I heard if it's spilled it can eat through your car chassis. True?

Dont get it on your paint. If you spilled, wipe it off right away or wash off the area.
