Here's the time slip. Look under Carlsbad Raceway 3-29-2003
folder.
http://www.pbase.com/yogo/tracks
Temp. was in the high 80s w/ head wind.
My time did improve by almost 3/10th w/ ODPS.
Carlsbad Raceway 10-12-2002 folder has my old slip when car was stock.
The dirt road there has not been paved yet. Never going back there unless they paved the road.

Pc527, Dood youre having the same problem as me when i went to Carlsbad. Damn Traction!. Your times could be significantly faster if you can get your 60ft better. I dont know if its the track or just both of us. But i cant break past a 2.2 at Carslbad. 3/10's with the pulley is impressive though!

Come up north! We've got a couple of good local tracks (Sears Point & Sacramento) and they're all paved

It's great to see there's a small but dedicated M-B drag racing contingent. I thought I'd be the only one...

Nice to see you on the boards treynor, saw your 03 s600 video, very impressive. When I have a car to challenge your viper, then I think the drive up north will be worth it

Let's just say my best run was a 13.7 with a horrible 2.28 60 foot.

Carlsbad has to be the worst track in southern california. Dirt road and curves uphill.

Never going there again, I will have to wait for the night racing in fontana.

Edit: The hamburger's they had for sale were the best part about the track.

What was your MPH for the 13.7 sec run and what about the other runs? Did you stage up against Peter or Charlie?

My mph for the 13.7 run was 100.8.

I ran with peter once, the last run of the day. He has the slip, it is pretty embarassing to say the least. I think I ran a 14.3 with something ridiculous, like a 2.4 60 foot. I think I had a 102 mph trap speed on that one too.

Wow?! 14.2 sec?...speechless... The track at Carlsbad is difficult to get a good launch due to the tire build up at the starting line. Next time, we'll all go to Fontana together for a couple runs.
