Mobil 1

Just came back from local VIP parts store and found mobil 1 0w40 for $6.99. A buck cheaper than anywhere else. Also right now mobil has a rebate for $12 back for every 5qts you buy. Bought 10 qts. Stock up.

Viper posted this:

"Oreilly's is having a special, $4.99/qt of Mobil 1 through May 25"

Don't know if that is regional or not.

I only saw 5w-30 weight in the ads.

Weight specific is normally put in the fine print underneath the ad (last time it said only 5w-20, 5w-30, and 10w-30). I'm gonna go buy mine later on this week for July change.....

Looks like Oreilly's didn't make the list for the rebate program. The form is only available from companies on the list.

It looks like none of the major chains are on there because they already have nationwide discounts available. It's probably just a way for the smaller guys to compete with the big guys

Just to confirm, I picked up my oil at O'reilly's today, $44.91 + tax for 9 quarts

PS - Most major chain stores will price match this as well in case you don't have one near you.
