Sounds good to me, kbb for what I saw was near $39,000. That appears to be a sweet deal especially if warranty is included. And I love white cars!!

I would PM emoving and get his opinion. If you look through all the classifieds for E55's he is always chiming in on the pricing. I think sells cars or something....but I think he'll give you the most honest opinion as to if it's a good deal or not and why.
Just my $0.02.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a E55 (just like that one) but then i remember the design is still five years old. SO i find myself asking do I really want to get into a car that i will be making payments on that will be ten years old when im done?
But of course there is nothing out there i would really want other than a E55.

Newz - sounds like a good deal on a nice E55. Would this be in place of, or addition to, the C63 P31 you've posted about (not sure if you've taken delivery of one yet or not)?

Glenn - if it's clean and what you are looking for, then make a decent offer and take it from there.
The mileage is within average and it will also depend of how often you plan to use the car. You can get a Max Coverage Chrysler Warranty for $2,600 for 85K/7 years, $100 deductible. Simply a no brainer.
I think you should go for it.

C55 AMG, CLK550
The car is nice as it sounds. Mileage is just a bit high for a 2006 IMHO but is certainly is not a deal breaker. For me Pano top is a minus but that's simply an opinion. The asking price is probably not firm so with a warranty and a clear Carfax you're good to go IMHO. Good luck!

Actually, given that w211 E55s first hit the streets in the U.S. as 2003 models, you could (should?) consider the design as being 7-8 years old at present.

A 2011 C63 P31 really tickles my fancy and with the new 4.7 V-8 coming out, the C class may get this new engine (4.7) and not the 5.5 TT which I had hoped for. Plus a C63 with the P31 would eat that stock E55 alive for breakfast, lunch and dinner!! I've been pricing out Package 1 C63 with the Carbon Fiber Package and P31 & LSD , no leather, so that's where I've been looking.

Yes, My Philly brother, I WAS looking at the E55 in white BUT it has no Pano Roof which makes it much less desirable from a enthusiasts point of view and I don't like the idea that it may be with a dealer rather than a 1 owner Private Party transaction, BUT that's just me!!
