I have a zex wet kit, i have the kit for trucks but the only difference is a longer bottle hose. I have jets for a 100 shot and a 150 shot. The nozzle is installed in the MAF sensor housing - past the sensor itself. You don't want nos blowing through the MAF unless you run a dry kit (not recommended)
I also have a window switch 3500 - 6000 rpm. Traction is difficult!

My advice is to make sure you build in some safety features. We install a ton of ZEX kits, but we always push a pressure gauge, heater, purge sytem, blow down tube, and window switch. Its a couple hundred dollars more in parts and labor, but will go a long way in not only the safety of your system but also in the performance of it.
I can get you some really good deals on a system, email me and we can go over details.

Do nos kits always have to be engaged like in the movies where they have to twist them on the tanks? or are they always ready to hit the boost button?

His mama. Traded y0 mama in because she was squeaking.
Depends on how you set it up.
You can certainly have it set up where you hit a button. Though, two buttons would be preferable:
1 Master arming switch
1 Activation switch.
With a master arming, you don't risk hitting the Activation switch when you don't want to.

That wouldnt bother me I just wouldnt want to have to go in the trunk when I want to use it. I think a switch would definitely be the smarter option.

Yes, you definitely need these as well. Sounds like you also want a remote bottle opener.
I have a master arming switch, the the NOS actually kicks on when the window switch hits 3500 rpm and I'm at full throttle. You never want the NOS to kick on at part throttle. There is not enough fuel and you WILL LEAN out and go boom!
A progressive controller is another neat feature you can add. It allows you to kick the NOS on at 2500-3000 rpm and it ramps up the delivery over an RPM range or a time delay to full power. This will help prevent a sudden loss of traction when the NOS kicks in.

awesome
The only true way to run NOS is hooked up to your lap top, with bottles hidden in your seat cushions, and steering wheel mounted buttons. Only engage it when you are street racing your "10 second car" and remember to secure your metal plate on the bottom of your car better so it doesn't fly off doing 140mph. ![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)

Mike I had looked into this on my C55 as power alternative to spending boatloads on a blower kit.
Do you have more info on your setup? Pics? Dyno #s?Stock ECU?

Someone who ran nitrous on the srt6 forums said that the nitrous ate away at the teflon on the rotors in there supercharger, when they were getting it rebuilt.

Yes we do. the MB engine is 10 times better than a honda engine that can take a 150 shot all day.
As long as you don't spray at part throttle or run out of fuel, you won't hurt the engine. I did several full throttle runs with just the fuel nozzle spraying into glass jar to see how much spray I could run before the fuel pressure starts to drop. At a 200 shot (fuel only) my fuel pressure was still at 65 psi at redline.

I have a zex kit, 100 shot jets right now. I use a window switch from 3500 rpm to 6000. The nozzle is installed in the MAF housing - nos and fuel are sprayed downstream of the actual sensor. The little purple box is over by the battery. I really should get some pics uploaded.
I don't run NOS on a dyno - dyno's put more strain on your engine than what it sees on the track.
Oh, one other thing - it may not be necessary but I disable the traction control when I spray. I don't want the ECU to cut the fuel if the tires break loose.
