Just wanted to see if everyone gets as bad of fuel consumption as I do.
I average about 16.3 MPG.
I rarely get on it BTW. It has an LET 185mm pulley/LET tune, FWIW.
It's kind of sad to think my other car gets better gas mileage...

was getting 16-17 city, and 21-23 highway
NOW getting 22-24 city (i've seen 32mpg going 40 mph) and 25-27 highway. had a supercharger switch installed....those are numbers with supercharger switched off. as awesome as it is, i'm having some supercharger issues right now (won't turn on/stay on correctly....hopefully this issue will be resolved this week)

Current config., basically right at 19 MPG avg for everything. Mixed-driving but longer trip with mostly highway, I've seen as high as 23-24 for the trip. Low-mid teens for a quick city-driving trip, and mid single digits at the track last year.

I was just checking my mpg this morning on the way to work actually. My 30 mile commute in the HOV lane doing about 65 netted 22.9 mpg by the time I parked.
My combined is 18.4 mpg at the moment.

I just got the car recently, so I am on it a bit, I average 14mpg in city, I think 20+ on highway. I did not buy this car with mpg in mind
Is there a way to tune the software to engage the supercharger at only a certain engine speed or throttle postion? I really don't need it at the low low rpms I drive with the kids in the car....

no. the supercharger has an electromagnetic clutch. this is why i am trying this supercharger on/off switch setup. i'm heading back to the shop today and hopefully they can resolve the issue.Originally Posted by SETSEROCK

the car already does this already. THe sc engages at a certain rpm or when you go WOT. If your crusing on the highway and keep it a low constant throttle the sc disengages.Originally Posted by SETSEROCK

Well I have a leak from the headers right now but I use about 1/8 of a tank per 12 miles more or less. Because from my house to work is about 12 miles and each route I usually use up 1/8 of a tank and fill up every other day and I tried filling up once a day before. So I have really really bad gas mileage right now >.<.

you want to compute your mpg at least by a tank because your mpg improves as your fuel goes down because the car gets lighter. Your losing mpg by filling up every 1/8 tank.Originally Posted by wcl

I've been averaging 14mpg in my 200% city driving, and 19mpg on the freeway while I cruise back and forth between 75 and 80.
185mm pulley/tune, shorty headers, and res delete.
Not bad for a 440hp car IMO.

well, I just filled up 14.2gallon after 242 miles, so I avg right on 17mpg for this tank.
numbers look about right.
City driving: driving on speed limit: 16-18mpg
if i smash: 12mpg
Freeway driving: driving on speed limit: MOST RECENT from this weekend was 22.4mpg ^_^ and thats 65-75mph *****footing.
driving with a bit of smashing: 18-20mpg
**and MPG didnt change from my OEM 17" AMGs to 19" wider wheels**

I'm guessing that number is at the crank, but still that is huge for this car. Mind sharing a short list of what got your there?Originally Posted by firstshadow

17 city, 21-22 highway. I actually managed to get 23 on the highway once...
I gave up worrying about it a while ago though. I figured if gas mileage was a major concern I wouldn't have bought a performance sedan. And overall it's not bad.
My buddy's Jeep SRT-8 gets...12...on the highway.... As low as 8 in the city. Now THAT is crappy. Sure is fun to drive though.
