Question What's the best way to sell our C32?

Craigslist or some other site? I think the time has come (due to family dynamics changing)- you know will force me to sell. My 04 has 69k and an aftermarket warranty until 12/2011. Great shape and not heavily modified. Runs great!

I am creating the ad for craigslist but will read something like this. The price?
For fellow members? I will knock off $1000.

2004 Mercedes C32 AMG w/69500 miles

Car is in great shape with one small dent on the rear passenger door and a scratch in front. Since I’ve owned the car, I have always used OEM filters and Mobil One 0w40 full synthetic. A local shop (Mars Automotive) in Manassas, VA has maintained the car for the last 2-3 years. Car has a warranty to 100,000 miles or 12/2011 through Interstate (I’m checking to see if it’s transferable). The last work on the car included cleaning the sunroof ducts, replacing the fuel filter, and valve cover gaskets. Car is very clean and has leather seats, glove box CD changer (OEM), NAV, and I think all the AMG options. Tires are in excellent shape and battery is less than one-year old. Car includes Eurocharged Tune, Code3 Supercharger pulley, K&N filters and Code3 intake center filter. I’m only selling as my family dynamics are changing and I’m looking for a beater car. Title not in-hand as I need to pay note off and takes about a week to receive the title. Any questions, please ask.

Price: $17,900 (private sale) or $16,900 (to forum members)

The best way to sell a car is to list it for way less than you think it's worth.

+1

sell it at a realistic value or keep it.

I know you listed kbb value, but at current market very little people will pay for one.

cars.com or craglist to attract local buyer will probably be the best idea.

good luck

Yeah I hear you all. I've been down this road before and understand your comments. A couple of people at work might want it too. So, I think I may let it go to a co-worker for 16k- which seems reasonable (at least to me).

Also, I've had success with Autotrader (the basic one cost me a little less than $30) and Craigslist as well (its free).
