Saw a silver one at MB Anaheim and it's way sharper in person - pictures just don't do it justice. The quality of the interior is 10+ and the winged doors absolutely look great. You could smell the leather interior 10' away!

I have to admit that in some pictures it does look awkward. However, I do know that there are cars out there that pictures just don't do justice to and when you see them in real life its like wow! Well, except for perhaps the new E class

There is a white one in Kitchener Ontario dealer and the flat paint looks ugly like something was forgotten in the final process. Some like like though. Just not my taste. Car's line are stunning in person and no, pictures do not do it justice.

This car looks amazing in person. Much better than in pictures. Personally, I think it is one of the best looking cars out there -- especially in the matt olive drab paint. The interior, however, looks like a standard SL interior, nothing that special. However, I did not get to sit in it, drive it, or really check it out.

I think the SLS is a good looking car, but that flat paint is horrible. I don't understand that whole craze, makes a car look very unfinished to me. Looks much better with a nice shiney paint job:

There's a new S-Class or CLS-Class at Schumacher Mercedes in Scottsdale that's painted matte white. You're right--it does make the car look 'unfinished,' but it was oddly cool. Of course, I'd skip the $3,995 option and just get 'regular' paint.

Saw it at the AMG driving event about 6 weeks ago. It's the Kirstie Alley of supercars.
Someday, AMG will make a car where weight savings are actually pushed more to the forefront of their decision-making process. I cannot understand a "performance" division that is so wrapped up in only certain parts of the equation. They need to hire away someone from the Lotus management team to kick some fat ***.
