Exclamation Emmisions help Please!

Ok I went today to get my emissions done and to my surprise it was rejected with no warnings at all except the reserve fuel warning..I went inside to talk to a manager and was told if I had the battery recently disconnected which I said "I think so" but honestly I don't think so...anyways he explained that the car did not fail it's that the OBDII system monitor needed to be reset because "as is" it wouldn't show any memory of present or past emissions......ok so how I do that? My OBDII reader does not show any faults. PLEASE HELP! I CAN'T BUY RENEWAL STICKER TIL EMISSIONS DONE. TIA!!!

I remember a thread that said not to do a tune or disconnecting the battery before getting your emission test done. Once the battery is disconnected every thing will be reset and you will need to follow a process in order to get every thing back to normal.

Here's the thread I was talking about:

Received your text. Could it be a tuned ECU?

its probably because of the battery disconnect like others have said. I passed california smog with EC 185mm and powerchip tune.

Vic, ah the beauty of a tuned ECU?? I had this problem with the ML 55 and had to drive it for about three days (3) to allow the ECU OBD II to get some "history" . After that it passed with no problems. You can either retry after "resetting" the ECU (disconnect the battery) and then let it sit for at least an hour or so (or more if you've got time) then drive it for a few days to allow it to gather some history. The alternative is to take it to Jerry or Jake and have the ECU tuned stock. If I recall , you were throwing some CELs with the crank pulleys. Have you thrown one recently??

I just did and all seem to talk about how tunes have those 3 codes off...I guess best option is to have tuner revise tune.

Funny thing is IF I disconnected battery it may have been in the winter but I don't drive car in winter but I've been driving my C32 since April/May on weekends and put over 1000 miles and rejected due to codes not showing
