Sorry, I'd take some pix for you, but they're on the car.
I do not however, remember that tubing was exposed like that in the inside. Looks like it would create turbulence, but I dunno for sure. Good luck!!

Dose the top part of your headers have a cup like look to it? The reason I ask is because I have done a couple of header swaps and it looks like these were built very cheap no work was put into refining any weld points on the inside its a very rough peace. I am sure if I were to clean this up a bit it might pull out some #. but until then I might need a picture to make %100 sure that I need to weld in the header.

P.S if anyone has pictures of any aftermarket Header or any Stock Headers Please let me know I want to be sure before I start welding that this is completely flat.
Thanks

my first set of ec headers looked like that. My tuner said they were crap and to send them back. The second set was much better. The second set was much more tapered.

Quick question to everyone should I paint these after I grind them?
Or should I remove the paint and leave it like that??(I am sure rust will be a issue because they are steel)

Unless you get them ceramic coated I wouldn't worry about it. The paint will just flake off within minutes of the car running. That being said just install them and have fun. You'll probably scratch the crap outta them when you go to install them anyway

I was reading up on ceramic coating and they have claims of being able to keep the headers cooler, keep heat in, and increasing flow, but who knows how true that is. Check out this article : http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles...ngs/index.html

I just finished installing them and wow what a differance. the car feels unrestricted it gave it a nice tone..
Quick Question my car is shaking now at a stand point how to I make the ecu reset itself so it can adapt to the headers?

Try disconnecting the battery for a while and the ecu should be cleared, just be careful not to do it close to emissions time, some people have had a problem getting the system ready again.

The battery was off for 2 days during the install, as soon as I finished I plugged it back it and its still shaking. any other advise?
P.S If anyone is thinking about attempting to install headers, my word of advise DON'T DO IT if you don't have the proper space and tools because It took me a whole day to get the stock ones off and another day to install the new ones.

Could you provide some tips and pointers on doing the job. What kind of special tools were needed and what was the problem getting them in and out?

I would say a full set of tools are needed like Pliers, 10mm socket(sort and long), extensions, full wrench set mostly 10mm 11mm 12mm and 13mm.
Tips on doing the job.
*Remove all coil packs and label everything where they go.
*Keeps bolts in zip locks and label them too.
*Remove the cat-back system makes getting those last few bolts easy to get out,
*Have someone with small hands around it comes in very handy.
*Don't give up the driver side is a pain in the *** to get out.
*use ramps to lift your car in the air don't jack it up.
*make sure your car is nice and cool because the exhaust gets very hot fast.

This is why I let my mechanic do it. I messed with exhaust once. Learned that quite often you need a torch to heat things up to be able to get bolts loose.
NEVER again.

And this is why I suggest w203 customers to do everything first, but headers. One of the most unenjoyable installs I've ever taken part in. Sounds nice afterwards though.
