C32 sound...need advice...
guys selling his c32 sent me a video...

I think that may be the supercharger bearing. May need to replace that but DEFINITELY have a shop look it over. Mine sounds like that but is nowhere near that loud.
ALSO, why is the passenger side wheel cover missing?!? Look at the space between the passenger side front wheel and the bumper. I think the part is like 25 dollars, but interesting that it is not there.

can't really tell what it is with that video, but it's not the supercharger clutch bearing.
the valve and injector tick on this car is very loud and they can't be helped. the rythm of that tick sounds a lot like the valve stick not being cleaned for a while.
ask him to pop the hood before he started the car and just focus on the engine compartment so it's easier for us to hear what is ticking.
the purge valve also makes a pretty loud tick btw.

um anyone else notice the dash.... its not an amg instrument cluster. He eather replace it with a C320/240/230 or its not an amg, Ask him to pop the hood to show the engine, Will help determain the sound.

this is my motor it has the ticking sound but not as bad as that car
i have seen other amg motors that have the ticking too

i just noticed it. didn't watch the second half of the vid earlier. it's a 160mph cluster instead of the 180mph. The condition of the interior looks pretty bad too with the shifter surround trim obviously not clipped down.

That ticking sound is just the purge valve.
