Ben,

If you can find a way that I can use my front brakes on the rear, I would take a set. I just can't bring myself to replace already good brakes with others unless they can be used in the rear.

Here is a RS6 owner comments about Brembos 8 piston kit

Here is a comparison picture of the 15" 8-piston kit vs the 14" 4-piston kit. Again, if there is enough demand, I will have it made!

It is quite possible that the additional brake torque generated by the 8 piston design will negatively affect brake bias on the C32. I would have to see the specs. Ben, can you confirm the piston size for this caliper as well as the sweep area of the total pads combined? Unless a custom caliper is made for the C32, using the standard Porsche 8 piston caliper with Porsche sized pistons will overbrake the car if you are too hard on the brakes. In addition, the 380mm rotors are not only larger in diameter, they are thicker as well by a couple of mm, either 34 or 35 depending on manufacturer vs. 32 for the 355 kit, and 28 for the 332 or 328. If I remember correctly, the 380 disks weight more than 10lbs more than the others! They do look good on any car though! If our cars weighed more than 4000+ lbs, then an argument could be made as to their advantages, but in terms of brake performance on the street, the stock set up is just as good and will stop in just the same distances as any BBK with the identical pads and tires.
