oh wow!!! nice mov'it kit! does it require new spindals? or... just a direct bolt on? also.. have anyone notice that AMG's brakes are the same left and right. they use the same piece of rotor i guess... if you go look at your car... the cross drilled direction is not the same.

Talking

Brake Kit

Front: 380mm x 32mm Porsche Motorsport Disc
6-piston monobloc (Brembo makes them for Porsche)

Rear: 322mm x 28 Porsche Disc
4-piston Big Red Porsche (painted yellow)

The kit came with all the nessary hardware. No hub work is required.

Problems; Rear lug bolts are 1/4" too short. There is no need for spacers anymore with my SSR GT3 wheels. Ordered wheel inserts to make the wheel hubcentric.

I'll test the kit 4-21-03 at Summit Point.

I like them, I will need to put them on the track. I have done about ten stops from 100mph, and they feel strong. I need to work out my small problems, and put the car on the track so I can use the brake markers as a referance.

The fronts come yellow from Brembo. Look at the brakes on the new Porsche GT3.

that is VERY expensive...AP racing 6 piston 14" and Brembo 6 piston 14" should both retail less than 4000

Depending on the car, Brembo's 8-piston 15" kit retails at $3,995.

Really? Are they monoblock? Are they for this car? How much do they weigh?

The 8-piston monoblock caliper and rotor are heavier than the 14" 4-piston kit, but it makes up for it in massive brake torque. The kit is not currently being made, but our close relationship with gives us access to building the kit if there is enough demand. Anyone???

Here is a comparison picture of the 15" 8-piston kit vs the 14" 4-piston kit. Again, if there is enough demand, I will have it made!

That's funny, I called Evo Sport a couple of times and asked about big brake kits. The only 15" kit that I could get from them was the Kleeman kit.
