Fake C32 Alert
Okay coming home from work in North Miami Beach.
This guy was on my *** in his C Class.
In my rearview mirror, he had the AMG front bumper but it didnt look right.
He pulled in the next lane and he had what looked like an 03 or 04 C230 rebadged as C32. Had to been a 04 since it was lower than usual. Anyways
I noticed he badged his car as a C32. The deadgiveaway was the exhaust and the MB Sport Bumper. Thoght i would snap a photo
I know he was checking my car out so I intentionally lowered my window to and stuck my arm with my iphone to take a picture. It was funny as he knew what I was doing and he tried real hard to get out of the way.
When the light turned green he tried to floor it to get away. The rubber bands under that guys hood must have worked real hard to get away that fast.
Have a look at this fool.

you know, on that note, i've been shopping around for a c32 and last night i came across a few c32s for sale. One was that one that had BMW door seals and a bunch of other inconsistencies...well i found another one...

yea... I looked at it for a second, and said wait just a min... that was the first thing that caught my eye, then like a picture that you stare at for minutes turns into something else... my brain revealed the seats, and all the other garbage. I looked back at the sales ad, re-read it, and said what a load of sheets. Its a REAL C32 guys!! c'mon... you mean c32 didnt come with bmw style seats and a hand brake option??

To funny, just to funny! Although, I must admit, being and old school car guy I've done the same thing...a little. My '66 Mustang coupe has the Shelby side stripes. Also, my '64 Impala was not a SS car but I made it one. Now to be fair, the '64 was a complete resto and I did everything SS to it...not just badge it.

I think it would be fun to buy a bunch of ///M and /S line badges to keep in the car and put them on fake AMG cars in parking lots. If you're going to be a poser, might as well go all out.

if they want to pose...at least get a complete kit or something.
i find posers funny and irritating at the same time...
at some meet long time ago in 05 some kid showed up with a debadged C230k with wheels and my buddy asked him what car it was and he said "c32". and then asked us what we drive. my buddy said "the c240 with brabus kit over there" and I just pointed and said "the black one"...the kid walked over and then quickly got back to his car and left. lol

I registered just to see the picture of that fake silver c32. A fake like that one cut me off last night on 826 going east. It was about 1 am and the road was almost empty so I thought I'd pull beside him and have a run in the straight between 37th ave and I-95, but something looked odd about that car. Took me a bit to notice the c320 exhaust. Its missing the V6Kompressor badge too. When I changed lanes the guy punched it, so I did the same and a few second later I could barely see his headlights in my rear view mirror.
What corner is that moosejaw? 186 and US1?

Hey, that is a great video and my car (Black C32 is IN IT), so is Jerry's old Black C32 with the drag radials; that Vid was done by Wayne (ChicagoX on the E55 forums) in Morrocco IN at the Drags about two years ago!!! I ran consistent high 12s all day long at that meet. Never broke into the 13s.
At 0.40 on the video, I raced that grey S600 and took him about 3/4 of the way down the track till he reeled me in. He was running consistent mid-12s at 12.5 112-115, but I think he was lightly modded and tuned. That's a heavy-a** car too!!
