C32 transmission always in 1 or 2 gears too high?
Does your C32 always feel like it's in one or two gears too high? It's rather annoying that below 2000rpm it's not very responsive at all and only when the gear finally kicks down that some real action occurs. I've always have to manual shift to get the most out of the car and in D is just no fun at all. I've tried the ECU/transmission reset but it's made no difference. Is it to do with anything else? ie the torque converter, IC pump? I took back to the dealer and they said they couldn't find any error codes or faults. ![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)
Any tips would be much appreciated

There's a ton of threads about the Sprintbooster archived. It DOES NOT make your car ANY faster, however for me, it makes the driving experience much better. The kick downs happen so much faster without the lazy laggy feeling.
When I step on the gas a little to pass, it kicks down immediately. But it's like, yes, you CAN press the gas just more, but it's like it kicks down at a lower throttle position, so I'm in a lower gear to pass, but I'm not on it at full throttle, jut enough to get a good fast boost to pass. Not sure if that makes sense.
I think for drag racing, it may make it harder to modulate the throttle to reduce wheel spin, but I think at other times when you're racing on the fly, it will kick down and get you going sooner than stock.
Anyways, it's a love/hate thing, people either love it or think its totally stupid.
I really like mine.

Yup, found a heap of info on the sprintbooster, so much so that I ordered one
It sounds exactly like what I need. I hate having to floor it every time I need to change down. That seems to be the point that the nay sayers with this product is confused with. We'll see how it goes hn it gets here. I'm quietly confident that it's what I'm looking for.

Ooh.. I didn't realise there is a classified section in the forum. I've already ordered. Never mind, I shall look there the next time. Cheers, jj
