Just got my CA SMOG!

My smog guy -whom I’ve been going to for years- also stated that “California doesn’t require dynamometer testing for your car,” even after volunteering to engage dyno mode.
Wasn't too surprised when he didn’t ask to see CARB’s Executive Order exemption certificates for the GMC’s aftermarket camshaft, heads and exhaust hardware.
That bottle of his preferred beverage during the holidays seems to have altered his vision.
It, too, passed with flying colors.

So you’re in Torrance now…a bit more pleasant than Corona, yes? Ring sometime and we’ll catch up for lunch.

No sniffer? All three of mine required the colonoscopy this year for renewal, although that’s ostensibly soon to be passé.

He gave me a certificate that i passed which is what i cared about.
The parents are living in the corona house. I got a apt in torrance, i'm definitly liking the new atmosphere. Its more geared to a younger person. I like the fact i don't have to drive more then 5min for where i need to go.
If i like this new job, i might acquire another property around this area.

NICE NICE! now did u you have both your resonators and secondary cats deleted??
i still havent deleted my secondary cats coz i STILL havent gotten a letter from DMV requiring a SMOG test since i bought the C32. all i have still is the resonator delete

** Illinois only does OBD now and did away with the rollers a few years back. ** Probably got tired of paying "trans claims" for damage??

Hey Greg! I just got mine smog checked, too. No dyno, just OBD.
The results were pretty close to yours. It's actually a very healthy car!!

Congrats on your new digs and gig.

It really pissed me off to be honest. The guy said it was cleaner than stock, but two readiness
Flags on the ECU and no EO# on a few parts would cause it to fail. And this is jst something i dont want to worry about. It sucks cause i loved that car :-(
He should looked at the massive crank pulley
I had my second CAT removed and passed SMOG test about 6 months ago without any problem. (I did not pass it at first because of the readiness, but all was good when I had my tune fixed)
