Buy My C55! LOW miles with Genuine Mercedes Warranty until May 2013

So the day has come to part with the C55. With a wife and baby--and this is our only car, it's not working for us anymore.

But the good news is that my loss is someone's gain. I'm confident that this is one of the best C55 buys out there.

Car is black/black with Navi, Bi-xenons and Black Birdseye Trim

Mods: Renntech CF Airbox, Hardwired V1, Tint, CLK Grille, Flat Affalterbach Hood Emblem.

Only 26K miles and the best part is that it comes with Mercedes Extended Limited Warranty for 2 1/2 more years. Worry free living until 2013.

Asking $25,000.

Check out my other post for additional details and pics. More pics to come as well.

https://mbworld.org/forums/mercedes-...ay-2013-a.html

Let me know if there's any information that you guys have about the car.

Thanks.

cdd,

Sorry to hear it... what's next? And, FWIW, he's right guys. If it looks even remotely as good as the last time I saw it (some time ago...), it's a beaut'. A fine example for welcoming a new AMG'er into the fold.

GLWS.

Hey man, thanks for the kind words.

Yes, it does suck to part with it. The next ride is not nearly as exciting--probably a Honda Pilot. We test drove this past weekend. They are pretty good family trucksters.

Plans are to move out of the city and once we do that, we'll need a second car. Maybe a C63?

Ha - now I like the way you're thinking.

Again, GLWS - a great, clean C55 for a very fair asking price.

Having grown up in Philly (mom called it Filth-a-delphia), I can say that its no place to raise kids anymore, gotta go to the burbs like we did to Bensalem...................................

Why not get an ML CDI Diesel instead of the Pilot. Stump pulling torque, just as much room and you stay in the MB family. My clients who have the diesels LOVE em and I mean really love em. They are not too shabby on the acceleration either.

Well, like any major city, there are some very nice neighborhoods in Philadelphia, but there are pretty bad parts as well. The condensed nature of a major metropolitan area means that sometimes only a block or two separates them. Hard to argue that it'd probably be an overall better area to raise kids in the 'burbs instead... IMHO, anywhere from Wynnewood west out to Malvern is quite nice and very family friendly. Great school districts (Lower Merion, Radnor, et al.), low crime, good access to trains into the city, etc.

Why not get an ML CDI Diesel instead of the Pilot.
I'm not cdd, so I can't answer for him - but to be fair, you can buy two Pilots for the price of one of the Bluetec ML's. So, not many people are going to cross-shop those two vehicles. Undoubtedly the ML is a higher quality overall product... but with a price to match.

If I end up trading the car in, then I'll definitely be putting the renntech airbox up for sale. The V1 I'll be keeping.

Car is not for sale anymore as I traded it in yesterday. Sad to see it go, but that's life, I guess.

The good news is I'm putting my Renntech C/F Airbox up for sale. Check the link to the classifieds posting.

Thanks
