Are you the original owner of your C32 AMG?
Got curious over the weekend while I was installing my front lip spoiler as to whether there are any original owners of a C32 on this forum. I'm sure there are C55 original owners on here but has anyone paid full price (50k+) for their C32 and held on to it for this long?

So FrankW and BenzoAMG are original owners? What year did they make the purchase? Anyone know if they ordered the cars or found them at a dealership?
I personally bought my '04 after the the first "owner" traded it in. It was a lease before that, and he bought it as a CPO.

Well as im not an orginal owner, I will share the story about the orginal owner, The Orginal owner, bought my car for his wife and him to cruise around in. Right around 2003 they couldnt find any C32's expect one in a Florda Dealership that had just been imported. He bought that for $63,000 (Including the 1500.00 Shipping) and brought it to Cali. I have all the orginal paperwork, the magazine cuts that he took from papers other articles plus all the service records.... (Big *** binder) Im pretty picky about maintenance... Reason he sold it, was he wanted a P car.... ... I even have him on facebook and keep him updated on his old car!

2002 c32 AMG 2012 c250 Coupe
I am the second owner, bought it in '08 for $24k with 32k miles from Porsche of Stevens Creek. Only thing i know about first owner is he gave it as a trade for a Porsche, wish i knew more. I actually wanted to call the dealership and ask for info. of the previous owner just to ask questions on the car.

C55Asleep? was an original owner in 2005.

2002 C32 AMG, 2013 GLK 350/4, 2015 E63S AMG Wagon
I'm the original owner of my C32. Put a deposit on it before 9/11 and got it in April of 2002. Paid $56K plus for it. No test drive. All based on the engine spec. Was looking at an M3 but went for extra 2 doors (at the time the fastest production 4 door sedan). By now have 115K miles, ran 12.5 1/4 a year ago, and taking it back to the track on the 22nd to see if it can do better. It has been a blast.

wow...FrankW, u are still driving ur C32.....I was the original owner, got mine May 2002, sold April 2005....havent been to c32 thread more than 5 years...haha

Added maybe 2.5K in mods
Nothing has ever broken
Plan to keep another 10 yrs or so
At 5K per year I am glad I kept it and not thrown the money towards a boring Camry/Commuter car.

Yeah not cheap around here.. although our dollar has never been stronger and reached parity with the USD so our economy is very strong just the cars aren't haha technically our dollar is worth too much it should be hovering lower so around the 25-30k mark .. still expensive!

Yes, I am the original owner of my C32 //AMG. I bought mine in December of 2001. When i was looking for a 4 door sports sedan in 2001, there was not many to choose from. M3 was 2 door only, and most domestic cars did not offer much. I compared cars like Lexus GS (boring and numb), Audi S4 (really small back seat and under powered with only 250hp) and Audi A6 4.2 ( nice but heavy and under powered at 300HP).
I have 135k on my C32, it has had regular tune ups and wear and tear items, but over all, very reliable and good to me. I have done just minor mods, and I plan on keeping this car as long as it is not a problem.
My next step is to continue to keep this as my daily driver and them buy a "true" sports car that comes out of the garage only on nice weekends and maybe a Friday drive to work. I am willing to spend about 60k for this, so I have to give this some thought as to what to get. I will buy it used to save on the car, it must look sexy, have power, and be some what unique. Any thoughts here is always appreciated.
