I know this has probably been asked before question about comand install

I have a 2005 C55, I recently decided to upgrade my car to have the comand system. I bought a system off ebay it's the US version 2.5 mtc or mts 2, basically the same unit that would come with the car stock from the factory. my question is the the system comes with a gps antenna to be positioned underneath the dash. where is the correct place to install this antenna in the vehicle. if anyone has a step by step direction to install the system as a whole or a link to a previous post I would greatly appreciate it. thank you again and I'm sorry if this question has been asked before I searched for it and I could not find any information regarding this. I really love my car and have no intentions of getting rid of it anytime soon I have 120,000 miles on it and no problems at all. it has to be best mercedes I've ever owned. thank you guys so much for your help in advance I really do appreciate it and once again sorry if this question has been asked before!
Thank you again!
Chris

I appreciate it man. Is it the same procedure since your car is a C32 & you were basically updating the whole system from the normal 2.0 to 2.5 comand? Overall how do u like the C32 a buddy of mine is looking at gettung an 03 with 84k miles for 11500. I would imagine if it were like my car in terms of reliability and performance it would be well worth it! I appreciate the help with my car and any input you can hive about the the C32.

Haha what a small world! Atleast I know now for sure my system is coming from a reliable fellow benz fanatic. Yea man I am pretty good at doing most things to my car myself but I wanted to make sure I did this right and didnt f*** up my car. I appreciate the help in advance if you have a brief write up/overview of how you did yours and any issues you ran into. I would be really greatful!

Well I installed the comand system and it was an EASY plug and play swap and I am really impressed with how much it really does improve the overall look of the interior! If anyone needs any advice or a step by step overview to complete this project please feel free to PM me and I would be more than happy to help you out. I also did a kinda homemade AUX connection using a male to male cord. If you want anyadvice or this PM me and I will be more than glad to help, it's a hell of a lot cheaper to do than what MB wants for an AUX port connection....

Glad you're happy with the Comand. Regarding the aux port connection, are you talking about the $40 cable? Did you splice n dice at the rear of the radio? There's a connector in the passenger side foot sill for the MB aux cable.
