Street racing with the wife, and kids who probably enjoyed it as well... Why does someone always have to start crying about street racing whenever we discuss races? Juan do you know when the dragway opens back up? Now that I have H/E, and you're tuned should both hopefully be running mid to low 13's.

Some people in this forum I think might exaggerate about their AMG's...

I previously owned a toyota supra that was dyno'd at 432RWHP, which means it had 432 ponies at the wheels. I sold that and just recently bought a C32 AMG. The AMG currently has a Kleeman pulley kit, ECU tune, 8.5 Magnecore Wires, and some NGK's.

I purchased the car with these mods on them (yes he showed me all reciepts and proof of purchase) and he claimed the car was at 400+ RWHP. I knew the C32 AMG came with 350ish hp to the crank stock, which is only like 290 rwhp because you lose roughly 60hp from the crank to the wheels. So I was amazed at the fact that with just those little upgrades it makes 100+ crank hp.

After driving the car for a little bit and noticing how significantly slower the AMG felt compared to the Supra I previously owned, I called Kleemann. Kleeman straight up told me that with those mods you might be at roughly 400 crank....which is only roughly 340 rwhp. Not saying anyone is exaggerating about anything but......just a thought

Quick interjection before all you AMG's rip my head off...the AMG actually feels quicker and torquer, but the top end trails off, where the supra is the opposite. Which is obvious since one is super charged while the other is turbo charged. I love my AMG, so please don't thik I'm trying to rip AMG's, it just that after reading some of these claims....as most people with sports cars do...they are a little exaggerated.

Nah I don't know when it opens up. Lol. My family loves the speed of the car and it was very from one light to another not full out racing. I knew someone would cry though. Don't act like none of you like to show the kids how fast daddy s car is! I don't think anyone here exaggerates any stories...well at least I don't

I just ran into a complete moron driving 6.0 GTO. He's stopped at light, and I'm creeping up. Turns green I go WOT to pass and he does the same. C32 pulls ahead, and this **** starts flashing his lights moving back and forth behind me. We continue down the road where I reach my favorite high speed section. Brake him, hazard, etc, and he don't do s***. Turns off... **** me the f*** off! What a jackass...

What if he wasn't racing at all and was concerned why you were driving so fast on public streets?

Wrong... He was clearly pissed off he didn't end up ahead. Concerned I was driving fast? This jackass nearly caused an accident by riding my ***, flashing his lights, and swerving everywhere. You serious?

what turbo setup?

and what dyno?

i've got 3 buddies with supras, one of which puts down a lowish number such as yours (420whp, granted on the lowest reading dyno dynamics in the country) and with a good driver, it traps 118-119. yes, the top end is quite better than the c32, but i wouldn't call a 432 whp MUCH faster a fully modded c32. does my buddy pull on me? you bet. is it by a lot? not by as much as you think

Haha I know, I was just kidding that's why I just said hmm.

Exaggerating on how fast your car is, is like telling a hooker you have a huge d!ck, eventually she'll find out the truth...

Yeah. Everyone here should know what these cars can and can't do but there are few cars on the road that are daily drivers that very can compete with ours...especially modded. Most cars that are faster than ours are either expensive exotics or highly modded cars that suck to drive everyday. It its what it is!

+1. This was especially true in the early days. The C32 was the fastest 4 door production car in the world when it came out.

I was just thinking the other day how nice it would have been to have my car brand new back in 02, modded and all.

Do you have heat exchanger? Make sure to do an intercooler isolation, and hopefully you got the pulley saver kit as well. The difference will be more than noticeable!

I have a Eurocharged heat exchanger, Needswings intercooler isolation kit, and I just have to install my Needswings pulley saver kit, and SL55 intake when I get a chance

ET's

I lose 2-3 tenths on my ET's going from sealevel to 800 ft elev. Cannot imagine the affect of 7000 ft, lol.

I'll personally take my C32 over an E55 kompressor. When I need that power it'll easily be available through the 2jz motor...

it's not a c32 anymore if you swap a 2jz engine in there.

Ok getting smoked by the E55 is haunting me.... My C32 has a kleemann pulley kit and ECU upgrade but i don't think it has ever been tuned. Would it be worth doing that stage II tuning from Eurocharged?? Anyone dealt with that before??

This is confusing. If you have an ECU upgrade, you have some kind of a tune. You may still benefit from EC's latest tune over what you have now but the E55 should smoke you every time anyway.
