What is this C-class for sale on Kijiji?

It seems lke multiple cars, it doesn't make any sense. It has a C55 badge in one picture, C230 kompressor rims in one picture, C55 rims in another picture, C55 front grill in one picture, and a regular C-class gril in another. Are they all different pictures? Is there really some rare car that's a C230 that apparently has a 2.5L V6 motor and some AMG package? I thought C230's were kompressor 4 bangers? One of the pictures looks like it's just a REAL C55, the others looks like a a regular C230 or C240 with Xenons and the AMG front bumper, and of course the C55 and AMG badges, WTF? Posers make me mad

I'm confused and I get pissed off when I see things like this. I want to call this guy out on it. What do you think?

There are 2 completely different cars in those pictures. It looks like the rear shots of the badging are of the real car (C230), however the front shot is of an actual C55

even more pathetic is you can tell he pieced the AMG badge on letter by letter.. it's not even a single fake slap on

mine(real)

atleast he is advertising it as a C230

This really sums the guy up imo...
Please contact me for showing... Not willing to negotiate as I need to pay lien to RBC off to purchase BMW 328i Convertible...

lol, so there is no C230 with a 2.5L V6 right? Also, what makes his car rare? I've seen loads of C320 and C230 kompressor cars with this so called AMG package. It's just the front and rear bumpers. I wish MB never made those bumpers for the regular C-class, it makes the C32 seem a lot less exclusive. A C55 with 160ish HP? That's weak.

I should show interest in the car and show up in my C32. I love parking beside "fake" AMG cars in parking lots. The look on the owners faces is priceless.

I was more interested to know whether or not there was a V6 C230. I don't know too much about the other models. However, I was sure only the C240/C320 had the V6 which was also the base for the C32 motor. Later of course came teh C280 which is now the C300.

I can't pull up the ad on my phone, but I can tell you the 06 and 07 C230s had a 2.5L V6 and all were sport models (with the AMG styled bumpers). The C280 got the 3.0L version of the same engine but only as a luxury model. The C350 got the 3.5L and came either as sport or luxury (most are luxury).

Good info. However, I'm pretty sure the C280 (2007) had a brand new 3.0L motor that had nothing to do with the C240/C320/C32 (M112) motor. It's still the same motor being used in the new C300 models. The M112 motor had been retired after the discontinuation of the C32/SRT6. However, correct me if I'm wrong. This is just what I know to be true.

nice tire thread so cal c55.lol but that really upsets me!! it completely bashes on the AMG name and i'm sure this guy probably raced people in his car because they thought it was a real AMG and they beat him and told all their friends they beat an AMG!

They did, the 06 and 07 used the M272 V6. 2.5L, 3.0L, and 3.5L. 05 was the first year for the facelifted model but was the last year for the charged 4 cylinder.
