Well the bottom part of my bumper split in half and a need a new one.

What do you guys think of the CLK55 bumper or any other bumper.

Cause i HAVE to spend the money i would rather make the car look alittle more aggressive, then keep it stock

I heard the CLK63 wont fit, but i have also gotten mixed answers.

The biggest difference in W209 bumpers pre-facelift (03-05) and facelift (06-09) is basically the round vs. oval fog lights. The CLK55 doesn't have it's own bumper. The CLK63 will fit your C55 as it fits any other W209. If you need the part #s, let me know. I think the CLK63 front bumper goes for $800-$900 brand new on parts.com.

Doesn't the facelift W209 bumper have more of an angle to it in the middle?

The standard CLK63 bumper works, but the CLK63 Black Series bumper will not (unless you replace the fenders as well to match).

Yea, it might. It's definitely not the same as the pre-facelift, but the biggest visual difference are the fogs. The CLK BS bumper definitely fits, but you will look odd without an entire wide kit.

Yea A part number would be awesome

I have the circle fogs. Another question would my mesh fit on the CLK63 bumper?

So so I be concerned about the facelift and the amount of time or money?

Since you have the round fogs, and assuming the bulbs are the same, you shouldn't have too much difficulty with the facelift CLK63 bumper. I'm not sure if the mesh will fit, but I will check the part #s tomorrow and see if they are used on the C55 also. You would need to get the bumper painted and installed.

Are you looking for a bumper with parktronic or washers? It would be easier if you get me the VIN of the exact CLK63 that you want and I will get those numbers.

This thread needed some pics. Two pics of the front of the CLK63 bumper. It looks awesome in my opinion. The difference from the C55 bumper is subtle but noticeable to the trained eye. Definitely digging the shark fins on the sides. Go for it if you can find it!

Here is a pic of Advan's C55. This is actually a CLK63 replica bumper. It's a CLK500 with the vents cut out, but you get the idea. Also that lip is of anohter car, it's not the correct one.

IIRC, the CLK63 bumper does not fit exactly without some other parts. Two members have done it I believe?

Don't worry, I'm in NNJ and my lip is still going. Although NY roads are worse. I don't think any fabrication needs to be done, maybe some extra parts you have to purchase that you can't reuse from your C55. You should contact Advans and see if he could help.

I've been looking at pics and the fogs are a bit more to the side.
Is this going to be a problem
Mostly 2007's I've been looking at

Since the CLK63 came out in 07 I believe there is only facelift.
