Car does not start...
Few days I parked my C55 as it had a flat tire, and after fixed this problem, I left it parked for 2 days, and for my sad surprise, when I tried to start the car nothing happens. All light seem to be fine, as well as the battery, and I even tried to use a brand new battery, but still nothing happens. When I parked the car all was fine, no major issues. A friend of mine told me that this could be a security feature on the AMGs when they reach or overdue the maintenance period... I did the maintenance recently, but only reset the maintenance schedule after 3 weeks... does any of you have simillar problem?
rgds,

the car is now stoped for almost 3 weeks, and I can see now that the battery is dying, altough windows, lights and radio still work, but the radio only plays for a couple of minutes... but I tried to connect a new battery(well I was able to connect the cables, as I could not take off the other battery, but still the cables where properly connected), and still the car doesn´t start... I can´t understand what´s happening...
Thanks,
g
Thanks,

I had my C55 dignosed by an MB technician, and the worst result come out... when testing the computer could not get into the ECU... meaning I will need a new one
but I can´t understand how could this happen, if the only thing I did was to park the car and change a flat tire... Can anyone explain me how could the ECU get damaged? And how much could this cost?thanks,

... its wierd as nothing happened to it. and its the second time that I park the car, and after few days a decide to ride it, and it just decides not to start the engine... could this be again a failure from the ECU?thanks
It seems strange that it would happen again (if that was the original problem).
Unfortunately i can't help you as to what is going on. If the ECU is bad again, of course MB will fix it as their work is warrantied. BUT, i would consider going out and buying a hand-held code reader (advance auto parts, autozone, etc). They aren't that much and see if you can actually pull any codes yourself.
I hope they find out the issue and hope to hear back as to what they have to say. I've been in your position in the past and its no fun. My C has currently been sitting for a few weeks so i'm sure it won't start when i get it back on the road in the next few days lol.
