Greetings
After a lifetime of Bmw I finally get to own my 1st AMG![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
In the absence of a suitable Alpina touring I choose this beastie which I well & truly love to bits.
I'm told the car has a pulley mod & a re map & certainly is faster than my previous Alpina when accelerating![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Here's a quick pic

AMG wagons are SICK. I wish we had them here, I'd definitely buy one. Congratulations and welcome to the club.

Sorry, with the exception of the E55 and E63 wagons which is the reason I love powerful wagons. I'd love to own one, but I think they only let the US have less than 100 per year or something like that. Finding an E63 wagon puts you in the 70k used range (3 yrs old) I think.

You all are so lucky to have access to all these hot wagons! I am also pi$$ed we don't get as many German diesel cars here either. I wish I could have found my car in estate form but NOPE! I so really love the new E63 estate that comes with the sliding rear tray, simply amazing.

Thanks again for the friendly welcome![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
just discovered today that it's a more involved than 1st thought when changing the front springs![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Today I left the car with my local workshop[not MB]it wasn't long before they advised me that they had problems compressing the spring ,seems like a job for the stealers? however my guys have a contact at the near bye dealers who is handling the spring change on our behalf so all is well.
tell me
Is it true the front bumper has to come off in order to fix new projector headlights???
