c32 coolent loss

c32 coolent loss
Well after nearly 18months of coolent loss even after the heads had been done i finally took it to a merc engine specialist that i found who have diagnosed after noticing that piston 5 6 are shiny on top and not souty that coolent must be passing over... there for the gasket job wasnt done right .....phew now ive took the car back to the garage who did it( but not the actuall skim test etc)for them to strip the car and then the head can be sent to the merc specialist for them to do....god i must love this car to have stuck this out for so long...at least the car should be more powerfull when done.

To the OP, sounds like the IC to me? See if you can find a used one OR a NEW Code 3 (that may be floating around somewhere). Code 3 is no longer in biz BUT up until two years ago, they made a suitable IC replacement...........
