Congratulations to splinter!
I am assuming that everyone here has benefited from the amazing technical and DIY posts from our esteemed member, splinter. Well, as of today, splinter's dedication and contribution to MBWorld has culminated in an invite to become the newest Super Moderator for these forums. Thankfully, he has accepted the responsibility and will be lurking, uhh..., looking to promote civil and informative discourse. I'm sure he will continue to contribute from his wealth of automotive and Mercedes knowledge.
Please give splinter a hearty "congratulations" when you think to do so.
Also, please remember to help him (and the rest of the Mod crew) by being on your best behavior and reporting those who can't seem to.

Congratulations to Splinter. I hope it's a paid position. Lately civility has been in short supply here and we can use another well respected member to moderate the discussions. He also has class, style and knowledge.

SPLINTER!!!! He has helped me out in a many ways. From diagrams to firing orders and a few sweet pics of my old C55. Its great to have him paroling the boards. I had a chance to meet Splinter at famoso and he is a real stand up guy.

Your first act should be to ban the E55 troll (who left us for another car) and still thinks Mazdas and Toyotas are all that........Geez, who could that be??

As you can imagine, with dozens of forums and hundreds of threads every day, it is impossible for the staff to see everything. That is why we have the "report post" button on every post (it's the warning triangle at the lower left corner). We need you guys to be our eyes and ears.
This is a volunteer gig. All the Mods are only able to spend short amounts of time here, apart from our real lives. Help out by reporting TOU violation (yes, I'm recommending everyone go back and re-read them) and general discord to the staff. We will nip it in the bud if we are aware.
