Twin Screw Kleemann kits - new $8995?

Is it true? You can still buy the twin-screw kits for only $8995.

Here's the link. http://www.gmpperformance.com/index....ail&PID=120030

I went to the site and its for the part only. I'd bet you'd get Cory at Kleemann to install one for about that?? Still not an Autorotor though......

Buy one for $9 K and install will cost you $2-3 K, so you've got about 12 K invested. Its about the only REAL WAY to mod a C55 IMHO.........

Incorrect information. The KLEEMANN screw type kompressors have been dead for many years now.

I do, however, have ONE new/old-stock screw-type kompressor that doesn't have a home if anyone is interested- just PM me. It's the last new screw-type system left in the world as far as I know.

SLK55 transmissions have zero problems handling the power, BTW- I've not heard of a single 7G transmission failure on a KLEEMANN supercharged SLK55, and we've done hundreds since that car was introduced all over the world.

+1, I know that Cory had posted a special within the past few months for the NEW style kompressor from Kleemann. Cory, is that an autorotor you have for clarification??

Thanks for the quick reply.

Just wondering? Cory, What kind of dyno #s are you getting from different dynos on the 113 that have the Kleemann SC and headers installed??? I know that you guys are at altitude DAs and was wondering if there's any data (average) for sea-level or near sea level DAs.

55's typically make around 410-420 WHP and around 440 TQ with kompressor and headers. The last 5 SLK55's I did were right around there on our dyno, corrected for sea level (both boost and ambient pressure). I've seen multiple dynojet's from sea level on SLK55's which are making about the same as well.

Is this for the 2.0 or 2.3 liter Autorotor? I believe the newer twin screws are 2.0 litre.

Is the price also $8995? If so I may want to buy it as a backup in case mine goes out.
