02 C32 AMG, 2012 S550
C32 doors
Ok so I got the door panel off for the most part, there is still wires that go to some light at the bottom of the door and the metal piece that I believe belongs to the actuator attached. But all I want to do is get the small grey panel off....the trim on the door. They seem to have these funky clips and I'm not sure how to get it off...Any ideas!?????

Not sure...but while you're at it, change the bulbs under the door to LED

I want to say that you just pry them off. You should be able to get the metal piece off by detaching it to where the the door handle is.

LOL I love you guys but this thread hasn't helped me at all yet....I need to know how to take off those trim panels on the door..

I will post pictures soon, as they always help

be carefully while prying the plastic can break easy then you will have a loose trim!

AH HA! Figured it out today. There are these metal circular slide on clips that hold the door trim to the door panel. I took a pick tool and pried it off. (very carefully) The first one took some time but after that it went pretty fast. All done now....will post some pics soon
