Their prices for a tune are ridiculous. If you're the first customer, and they have to dyno tune from scratch, then yea. $795 is fair. But to take a tune that's already developed and charge $795 for 10 seconds of effort is lame. Plus the power you get is not worth the money.

I still maintain that these numbers are not achievable BUT WANT to be proven wrong. In particular, the amount of torque on the OE tune is much higher than I would expect even if the tune worked. Plus, when did MB make a 04 C55???
I'd pay handsomely for a 25 HP increase PLUS an increase in TQ of 26 with NO OTHER MODS!!
Make me wrong here Jerry or Jeremy??

25 HP on a 350+ hp motor isn't noticeable. with my NOS, a 55 shot is not noticeable. a 75 shot is barely noticeable and a 100 shot is pretty damn noticeable.
I don't think you'd want to pay a lot for 25 HP. (I wouldn't)

When I drove Jake's C32 with the 50 shot Zex, I noticed it when I hit the floor button in that??

335i is pretty easy to beat anytime. :-P I just personally don't see a lot of value is expensive mods that don't add up to a WIN. How about going twin turbo? That ought to put you in the 10's
I agree MIKE that 25 is NOT a LOT , however, except for a Kleemann/Dynocomp/Weistec SC or headers and some air filters, whats the alternative??? Not much to work with?? 25 HP may be the difference in beating a 335 or E46 and not??

just keep on eating popcorn please. monday morning is the day. depending on how it goes, that should affect your thought on the price you should pay. depending on how much power i get, that should effect what you would be willing to pay.

So Michael where is the shop located that you are doing your dyno at? Do you know what kind of dyno it is? Also I'd be interested in hearing what elevation the place is at as well as projected temps for Monday?

sure, the name of the place is ditos motors in daly city. it's the same place that eurocharged held their event at when they came here in january (i was supposed to attend that btw, but i would not have gotten a dyno, i guess that's a good thing since i'm getting a dyno now) the elevation is at 300ft. and the weather looks good http://www.weather.com/weather/5-day/Daly+City+CA+94016

it's a Monday morning? Sorry, doubt I can be there. Don't worry, Vlad's gonna be there doing the flash, right? He'll take care of you.
Just get there early, so you can raise your hood and keep your car cool. then when it's time, put it in dyno mode and hand them the keys. That's all there is to it!
Be sure to test putting it in dyno mode first as many cars seem to be different depending on model year....
