Hello, I am picking up a 2004 Mars Red C32 in Calgary on Saturday and I thought I'd introduce myself. I've had a few Mercedes over the years although the last few years I've been driving BMW's... I work at the BMW dealer so it only made sense. The last Merc I had was a '91 500SL and ever since the day I sold it, I wanted another one! The C32 is a one owner Calgary car. I have it booked into David Morris Fine Cars (Local Mercedes Dealer), on Monday morning to get the transmission fluid and filter changed. I'm also getting the SC oil changed. I'll post pics once I pick it up but for now I wanted to ask you guys if there's anything else I should get the dealer to take a look at while it's in there on Monday. It's due for it's Service B in 10,500 Km's (6200mi). Eventually I would like to due the standard mods but for now I want to make sure it's in tp condition. Any help or comments are appreciated!

Welcome aboard Mark. As far as mods etc go, "Search" is your friend. There's thousands of posts on mods (pulley etc) and also on the common problems facing the C32 (seat heaters/radiator/trans contamination ) etc. Please use search for these and also the stickies !! Mars Red, a great color by the way!!

The '04 models aren't affected by most of the problems plaguing the previous two years. Things will undoubtedly arise though and this forum will be a Godsend if you plan on doing anything yourself.

Havent seen a Mars red Benz in Germany yet. No, not one....except mine(C230). Nice red C32(jealous) and Wilkommen bis MBwelt.............

Does anyone know if the RED on the SL 550 is the same as the red on the C32/55???
