Ok lets try this again people

Hey guys, i had a thread yesterday asking what the tire pressure is on a C32 for the front and back. I got some nice friendly responses but yet no one has given me an accurate answer. Please can one of you who owns a C32 sedan just take 2 mins out of your time and just check the right door panel and tell me what the pressure should be for the front and back. I want it to be accurate please. I really appreciate this. Its driving me crazy and dont feel like going to the dealer just to open up an AMG door to see the tire pressure on that car. Thank you all

Well, it's kinda complicated - first of all, the tire pressures are on the driver's side door jamb, not the right door, and there is another tire pressure sticker inside the fuel filler door. Each
has different pressures. There has been some debate on the subject, if you look back in the archives.

The door jamb has the following pressures:

normal load - 32 psi front, 35 rear.
max. load - 36 psi front, 39 rear.

The fuel filler door has the following:

under 130 mph - normal load - 29 front, 32 rear
max load - 35 psi front 42 rear

over 130 mph - normal load - 32 psi front, 35 rear
max load - 35 psi front, 42 psi rear

I keep mine at 32 front and 35 rear.

How's that?

By the way, I see from your previous posts that you are putting AMG C32 rims on a C240. Bear in mind that there is a weight difference between the two vehicles (3310 vs. 3540 lbs.)- you may or may not want to use the same pressures.

Be that as it may, probably 32 and 35 will be OK for you.

Awsome, finally someone with enough sense to check the car. LOL LOL. I messing around. I really apreciate it bro. Yes im aware that there is a small weight difference but figured that was as close as i was gonna get to something accurate. U r right the info is on the left side of the door. Its my fault i made a mistake and said the right. But I think I will use 32 in the front and 35 in the back. To give u some insight as to why i was going crazy over this here is my story. 17k miles away I bought and upgraded from 16 to 17 inch tires as the C32 had. I had always kept it at 32f and 35 to 36b and the tires i purchased were michellin. Well they came with a 55k mile warrenty for tread life. Well its been 17 k and they are shot. I have been rotating them and balancing them every 5k also. When i went back to the tire dealer where I purchased them from one of the guys there was trying to blame me for not having the right PSI pressure. So at least now i can go back and shove this info in their face. Whats funny was that they thought that it should be 35 all the way around, and that my car was a front drive car. What joke. But i really appreciate your help. Ill let you guys know what I come up with after I win my tire battle LOL

I f they are Michelin Pilot Sports, (like on the C32) you are very lucky to get 17,000 out of them - mine are at 12,000 and the rears are shot (although there is a little power difference between our cars!)

I'm not sure how you are rotating the tires if you have the C32 staggered setup (wider at the back). I've been told NOT to rotate the tires from one side to the other, and of course you can't rotate front to back.

BTW I think I might try to find a tire shop that know what it is doing next time!

Ok first off " ro0zy " i apologize, i didnt even see your reply. What happend was that thread was posted under another forum and someone moved it here so i never kept up with it. I really appreciate your information. I wish i would have seen it first it would have answered my question long time ago. Second, to all the others who answered i thank you also. Third, forgot to mention that i did not get the staggered look, I got 225 on both front and back. So thats why I rotate the tires and i rotate from front to back and vis versa, I DO NOT criss cross. My tires were not the sport, they were the XGT H4 which came with a 55k mile warrenty for tread and lasted only 18-19k. So now they owe me another set of tires at an extreemly discounted rate.
