No Power to Fuel Pump- What is Going On??
I'm at a loss. Please help. I am thinking it could be the ECU, but I have no idea how to test for this.
Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Mods are 181 pulley and EC tune. Not sure if they could test to see if my ECU is fried.
Unfortunately, the pump and level sender also went south shortly thereafter.
Did you check for voltage at the pump harness while cranking? Good luck.
So how do I tell if its the fuel sender pump or the actual main fuel pump that's the problem?
It consists of an aux pump that feeds a canister that houses the main pump. I tested the aux pump and it runs fine. I'll test the main pump next to see if that is the issue. Hopefully these pictures will come in handy to someone else that refuses to pay MB $1100 for a C32 fuel pump assembly. There is no reason why a Walbro can't be fitted to the canister assembly.

I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter but I am still not getting any fuel at the rail. There is power to the pump- 10.1 volts when cranking. I gave up and had it towed to the dealer. Dealer is stumped as of now and says I have done everythign they would have done so far. They ordered a fuel sender to test if the one I have is bad. They said it had high resistance, and it could possibly be the culprit.
