steering rattle
On some bumpy surfaces, I get an occasional rattle back through the steering wheel. It is hard to demonstrate the problem at the dealership as it only does it on rough roads.
Has anyone had this fixed, or do we just put up with it?

I had this problem a while ago, the dealer fixed it and it came back again 
. Anyway, the dealer told me they tighten up something on the steering wheels. I can duplicate the problem by hitting the lower part of the steering wheel (don't hit it too hard, hehehe), just a nudge will do.

Thanks for the tip. I just tried the "hit the wheel" trick - and sure enough, that's the noise. I'll see what the dealer can do.
BTW, that's some handle........and I thought mine was catchy!

The explanation that I got from the dealer is that the feedback comes from the "Z" shape machanism for the tilt & telescoping adjustment function for the steering wheel. The feedback kinda goes away when I adjust the steering wheel outwards more(towards the driver).

I had a similar problem with a loose steering wheel being lose when i took the car to the dealer they found out that on the right front, one of the arms had a bushing that was leaking oil. This arm is supposed to help prevent nose dives while braking hard. The problem went away but i think i gotta take it in for them to change the left side bushing too.

WELL I FINALLY TOOK THE CAR IN AND THEY'RE WORKING ON IT. THE PROBLEM WITH THE LOOSE STEERING WHEEL I GUESS WAS THAT THE BUSHING ON THE CONTROL ARM WERE WORN OUT SINCE THE CAR HAS BEEN LOWERED, COOL THING IS THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR THEM
