C32 AMG, C55 AMG (W203) 2001 - 2007

So im standing in a corvette tuner showroom, while the c32 is strapped to the dyno

Its an 02,PRETTY MUCH STOCK, except for 19" bremmas and some light suspension and cosmetic mods. No engine/power mods at all. So I've been having problems with my throttle actuator and I wanna see if its robbing horsepower. Also in the next couple weeks I should be doing a 185 pulley and supporting mods, also the sl55 intake. Then ill come back and tune on the dyno. Well I should have stock ( possibly worse than stock) nunbers to post in the next hour

get the throttle actuator problem fixed before doing the 185, it will just compound your problems.

So in true c32 fashion as soon as it was strapped down it threw the "esp:take car to shop" code and was also blinking "BA-somthing", I can't remember the whole message. So the dyno operator didn't want to push it, and we quit for the time being. I drove right to my mechanics but he didn't have his obd2 reader.there was no CEL anyway. Just the blinking message and 5 malfuntions.

Depends on the dyno, fuel, operator and the heat soak (temps); The true dyno is the test track or qtr mile run. Dont let it eat you up................

All the messages and and malfunctions were gone by the time I got to my mechanic. I had been waiting for weeks for a readable code to pop up, so I could see if it was the same TB actuAtor code.

The car hasn't actually had a bad dyno. Yet. I'm just thinkin it maybe down a few ponies, but maybe not.

HAve someone read it with a real code scanner. I use the iRev application to read my codes, but my mechanic can pull hidden codes that iRev cannot. They're stored and will still be in there with out having a CEL on.
