Had a quick little run with a modded E90 M3...from what I have heard his mods are as follows:
primary cat delete
aftermarket muffler
and a Tune

my mods are listed in my sig.

It was from ~10mph-110ish mph. When we started out he was about a car length ahead of me and it seemed we both got on it at the same exact time. I didn't have really any wheel spin, and it was dead even the entire way. Neither car even inched with a gear change.

Thoughts? Comments? I thought it should pull on me, don't those mods usually push around 400whp?

i believe it. i ran a new stock new M3 who had a slight jump....and i reeled him in and passed him no problem.

last time i dyno'd (quite a while ago actually) was ~360whp and ~370wtq on Arizona 91 octane summer blend (it's like tested to be like 89 octane lol) on a dyno dynamics.

and yes, the torque is nuts. love it.

I disagree. My E90M is def faster than my AMG, and mine is a 55 with evo pulleys, ec ecu, true dual exhaust, e55 intake.

...............................and if you put a supercharge on your C55, it will definitelly be quicker than your stock E90 and sure will be a lot quicker than modded C32

the fact being that the E9x m3 is a competitor to the C63 was the reason it was brought up.

+1 ^^^^, a modded C32 is quicker and faster than a modded C55, so what are we talking about here. If yopu're talking about an SC'd 55, then its a whole different story. How do I know, I have BOTH!!

I got them from ebay but they suck...they fog up when I wash my car and the clear coat is like peeling off. They are DEPO's fyi.

Not an M3, but last night while driving home from work, I briefly played around with an E39 M5 that had a Dinan package. I was behind him at a light, he eased out then got a quick jump on me. Once I got on it, there was no pulling on his part, I was right there with him. If we had lined up side by side, it would have most likely been very close. Without him getting the jump, who knows. He then slowed down to make his turn, so I slowly went around him and he paused probably to see what it was that he couldn't drop.

edit:
I should add that it was also a very warm evening, in the upper 80s, so my benz could have run stronger. Even still, it's pulling mighty strong right now.
