Talk to Brad at evosport, they had a kleeman speed-sensitive-suspension that was supposed to have a great ride and very good handling. As I remember, one of the evo guys had it on his car. (be warned, not inexpensive).

There is nothing wrong with slamming the car to the ground, but this is just not what MB owners will do to their cars. If we want to slam it, we'll probably get a Civic.

Afterall, its a personal preference.

Thumbs up Kleemann Speed Sensitive Suspensions

I have them on my E55 and they are pretty good. Just about right. Not too stiff and not too soft. Also pretty good at cornering.

Your cars are slammed cause you cut your aftermarket springs.
For a C32 that is very dangerous. Also cut springs is super getto.
Nuthing is wrong with H&R or Kleeman

Yes I do, I had em cut on my C240 to get the slammed look and it was "Super Getto" just speaking from expierience. The ride sucks and I like to drive hard..Its cool if you are a cruizer I guess, but not if you like to go fast around twisties..

So what is the problem with putting just springs with stock shocks?

Stock shocks can not handle higher spring rate from H&R springs. On many cars the shocks simply become soft over several thousand miles and can not control the spring. Car becomes bouncy and hard to control when it hits a bump in mid-corner.

Hi Vadim, I agree. Might add that any "lowering" springs are surely shorter and are that much closer to the stock shock's limit of travel. Banging on the end of the stroke will add to the wear-rate too. This may be the single worst factor of the cut springs too, bottomming out the shock.

Vadim, are you still on H&R COs? Are you still enjoying them as much as you did at first?
