Where is the REST Button!?!

I just realized that this is the first MB I have had since my old Heckflosse that doesn't have the REST Feature. At least I can't figure out where it is if it does have it.

Anyone want to shed light on this one?

None of the US cars came with REST feature, unless yours has the digital climate control display. Even then, you have to have hardware to make the feature work.

guess I am glad I am not in the north any longer. I have always used the REST feature on my cars in the winter.

Funny how my wife's SLK which doesn't have auto climate control at all still has the REST feature.

From what I can tell if you have zenon headlights you have the recirc pump which is all the hardware needed.

I have the xenons and the auto climate control. So how exactly does one get the feature to work without having the actual REST button?

Keeps interior climate control operational for a limited amount of time (45 mins?) after car is stopped. AKA keeps the car cool/warm in summer/winter when you make a quick shopping trip.

They cheaped out on the a/c controls for the C55. The C32 has full a/c options, even a charcoal filter for unwanted odors.

I thought it only kept the car warm for a period of time after engine shut off because it drew heat from the block. Not sure about keeping the car cooler though.

My W210 E55's REST button kept it cool. Not sure if it changed over the years.

I guess they had to pay for a working radiator somehow!

That is correct at least according to the owners manual for my 02 32.
