i like it more as a spider personally. main reason why im pushing the Ferrari untill later is im working on getting my finances in order to build the dream garage. and attached ill have a kitchen where i can cook my meals and oogle my collection of cars. once i get my 55 paid im im going after a 911. cause i sure as hell cant let a ferrari sit out up here in NY esp where i live upstate haha

im looking about 100K at the very highest for what im gonna spend but its what keeps me going man. gonna do it alot myself and with other buddies to try and keep costs low. put a loft on top for my bachelor pad. ill have to check that site for ideas.

well i did hear about someone owning a carrera GT and a bentley continental GT on L4P and he's part of it and i thought it was the guy i knew in SF, but then i read that he also had an enzo and a 599 and i knew that the guy i know doesn't buy ferrari's, just Porsches and lambos and bentleys for the most part. so, no i don't know who this guy is. but he has been spotted and talked about before.

I came very very close to buying a 1998 355 GTS about a year ago. Then I visited a local Ferrari mechanic to check out his shop and saw the horror of all those mid engine cars in there for "routine service."
For routine major service, they drop the engine out the back and basically tear down / rebuild the top end of the motor EACH TIME. Everything rubber = has to be replaced, water pumps re-built with EACH service (dependent on model), cracking headers, rebuilt axels, bushings, mounts, etc. The list goes on and on and on and on. And by the way, these cars have 5k, 10k, maybe 15k miles on them...... And I haven't even mentioned the deplorable interiors that literally fall apart. The Italian Leather is beautiful but horribly delicate, adhesives peel off and leave surfaces sticky, electronics fail, etc. Being a perfectionist, I would NEVER be able to keep the car in a 100% condition. And that is a game I simply have no interest in playing.
